I agree with ravenswolfe that Morticia appears here relatively approachable in

comparison with the other Morticia images in your gallery. I think that appeal

resides in the assurance, indifference to the viewer, and the self-sufficiency all

the other images of her seem to radiate or perhaps it's truer to say that what

the viewer brings to your photographs of her feel insignificant or incapable of

changing so much as the ubiquitous indifference that seems to lurk just under

the several beauties you've collected on her surfaces.

Here, on the other hand, and only by comparison, I think. a kind word might

possibly raise a rich sable eyebrow &/or make a ripple in the serene stillness

near one or the other corners of her lips, just as the carousel behind Morticia

seems significantly less frenzied, despite the tilt, probably because you shot

her so much faster than many of the other night photographs that day -- just

relatively slow by comparison with this one @ 1/100s; so Morticia seems a bit

more vulnerable and befriendable. I'll bet that even ten years later she's one

shockingly gorgeous young woman, still.
